About Our Fundraising Goal In 2003, our first season with Team In Training, we had very lofty fundraising goals. All three of us signed up with TNT as official, first-time participants. Erika and Tad each had to raise $3100, and Elisabeth had to raise $2000, for a total of $8200. Then, since we were gung-ho newbies, we wanted all the perks -- so by raising an additional $2000, Elisabeth and Erika each got a really cool TNT fleece vest (we call it our $1000 vest!). By the time all was said and done, we had raised $12,662, a whopping $4000+ over our "official" goal and more than $2000 over our personal goal! In 2004, at the Tahoe Century ride, we raised over $3000 for a total of $15,702. In 2005, our fundraising requirements were very small -- our goal was only $1700. At the end of the season, we had passed the $17,000 mark. This season, our goal is to raise $3900. Anything you can do to help us reach our goal and to support the cause of fighting leukemia is appreciated! Remember, TNT puts less than 25% of the funds we raise toward our travel and training expenses. The rest goes toward research to find a cure for leukemia!
